1909 T204 Ramly Pat Moran baseball card lot, which includes the very rare Square Frame version and the regular oval version. Square-frame Ramly cards rarely are found in the market! Standard T204’s include oval portrait images of the players while the “square frame” version reflects square portrait image framed by a gold border. There are 121 cards in the 1909 T204 Ramly Baseball card set, and six cards, including John Anderson, Frank Bancroft, William Bransfield, Jesse Burkett, William Dineen and Pat Moran, can also be found with square frames (the gold boarder variations are incredibly tough to find and feature blank backs). This variation Moran card is truly one of the scarcest cards circulating in the card hobby today, a card that is rarely ever seen. Patrick Joseph Moran (1876-1924) led two clubs to the National League pennant for the first time in either franchise’s history – the Phillies in 1915 and the Cincinnati Reds in 1919 – and took the Reds to their first World Series championship in 1919. Unfortunately, the Black Sox Scandal that led to eight Chicago White Sox players’ eventual indictments for throwing the series tainted the Reds victory. Pat came up with the Boston Braves in 1901 and played 14 years at third base and catcher with the Braves (1901-1905), the Chicago Cubs (1906-1909) and the Philadelphia Phillies (1910-1914).
