Chester Nimitz (d. 1966) WW2 Fleet Admiral signed vintage 8"x10" photo - with a PSA/DNA letter of authenticity. Inscribed "To Edward Hand Junior High School, with Best Wishes" and "Fleet Admiral, US Navy". Nimitz was selected by FDR to be commander-in-chief, United States Pacific Fleet. He was promoted to the rank of admiral December 31, 1941.
