This mixed box of sports related items includes 8"x10" autographs of basketball greats Penny Hardaway and Glenn Robinson. Records include The Impossible Dream - The Story of the 1967 Boston Red Sox & Babe Ruth - The Legend Comes to Life (c. 1974). Ad pieces include baseball players, such as Bob Lemon advertising for Camel cigarettes, Johnny Mize & Joe DiMaggio advertising for Gillette Razor Blades, and actors/actresses Al Jolson, Hedy Lamarr, and Carole Lombard advertising for Lucky Strike. Books include 1944 The St. Louis Cardinals by Fred Lieb, Summer of '49 by David Halberstam. These highlights, as well as many other pieces of ephemera & memorabilia are included in this lot.
