Spectacular 1947 15"x20" Original Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger cardboard countertop display sign featuring a caricature of Johnny Mize, with artwork by Sam Davis. The colorful display has Mize swinging a bat with "833 RBI's, 1340 Hits, 206 Homers in 8 Years" across his body with cartoon vignettes highlighting his career and 1946 season. The display has an unused display easel on the back and exhibits wear along the borders with scattered soiling and heavy corner wear including minor paper loss, corner dings, and 5 pinholes around the edges where it was likely wall-mounted.
