Spectacular 1947 15"x20" Original Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger cardboard countertop display sign featuring a caricature of Mickey Vernon, with artwork by Sam Davis. The colorful display has Vernon swinging a bat with "207 Hits" across his body, then "in 1946 Mickey Vernon led the American League Stickmen with .353" and with cartoon vignettes highlighting his career and 1946 season. The display has an unused display easel on the back and exhibits wear along the borders with scattered soiling and heavy corner wear including minor paper loss, corner dings, and at least 2 pinholes around the edges where it was likely wall-mounted.
