This three page hand written letter in pencil comes on the personal letterhead of Casey Stengel. Written to his sister Louise, as he talks about his salary with the New York Yankees and his business investments. Includes the original envelope dated November 26th, 1951. There is a letter of authenticity from the Lawson Estate signed by John Maximilian Lawson, who is the grand nephew of Casey.
