This 1951 Connie Mack PSA 2 - Connie Mack Book card was originally issued in conjunction with the release of Connie Mack's "My 66 Years in the Big Leagues", as a premium accompaniment to this publication. This 4 card set, which includes Babe Ruth, Connie Mack, Rube Waddell, & Christy Mathewson, is scarce within the hobby, making each card very collectible. Hall of Famer Connie Mack spent his life devoted to the game, both as a player & a long time Philadelphia Athletic owner/manager. The black & white cards measure 2-1/4" x 3-1/2", with the player photo against a white background. This card shows some toning from age, but presents beautifully with no creases or tears.
