Hal Chase was one of the finest first basemen of his era. He played for the Highlanders, later known as the NY Yankees throughout his career. He is known to have been the go-between instigator for the mob & the players of the 1919 Black Sox, which has overshadowed his playing ability as his legacy. This card is very appealing to the eye in both color & condition on both the front & back.
