This rare, antique oversized (12"x15") book talks about the game of baseball from the National League to the American League to the Minor Leagues, with an emphasis on 1910 & upcoming 1911 seasons. Find many great vintage team photos throughout the book including the 1910 National League Champion Chicago Cubs, the great 1910 NY Giants team, and the 1910 World Champion Philadelphia Athletics. Additionally, there are many black & white photos throughout with greats such as Ty Cobb, Napoleon Lajoie, Tinker, Evers, Chance, Cap Anson, and so much more. Condition of the hardback cover is VG at best (missing piece on bottom left), but the cover picture & spine are intact. There are signs of water damage on the pages, mostly around the edges. Throughout the book, the photos are mostly untouched from damage and present very well.
