1938 PM8 "Our National Game" Pins Near Complete Set (30). The 1938 "Our National Game" set is comprised of 7/8"-diameter player-portrait pins. This set which has the designation PM8 carries a crisply detailed illustration of its subject, and all of the pieces tiny tab-points are intact. Highlights are Lou Gehrig (VG/EX), Dizzy Dean (VG/EX), Bob Feller (GD), Hank Greenberg (VG/EX), Joe Cronin (VG/EX), Bill Terry (VG/EX), Al Simmons (VG/EX), Charlie Gehringer (VG/EX), Carl Hubbell (EX), Mel Ott (VG), Joe DiMaggio (EX) and many other late-1930's stars. Average pin condition is VG to EX with a few lesser. The 2 missing pins from this set are the Jimmie Fox & Charlie Gehringer, and there are 2 pins each of Joe Moore & John Lewis.
