1933 Goudey Jim Bottomley #44 PSA 1.5 (Autograph Grade Authentic). Only 6 have been authenticated by PSA/DNA. James Leroy Bottomley (April 23, 1900 – December 11, 1959) played MLB from 1922 through 1937 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, and St. Louis Browns. He also served as player-manager for the Browns in 1937. Playing for the Cardinals against Brooklyn at Ebbets Field on September 16, 1924, Bottomley set the all-time single game RBI record with 12.
He won the League Award, given to the most valuable player, in 1928, and was a part of World Series championship teams in 1926 and 1931. Bottomley was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974. Part of The Uncle Jimmy Collection.
