This is an 8"x10" Mickey Mantle Type II Photo from the 1960s of the classic image taken by Don Wingfield in 1952. This Type II photo was a restrike in the 1960s that was made off the original negative of the 1952 Don Wingfield photo. This 1960s Type II photo has been PSA authenticated and comes with their letter of authenticity. The photo displays very nicely, and is the image that was used for Mantle's 1951-52 Wheaties card (#G) and was originally taken at Ebbets Field by Don Wingfield in 1952. This is an extremely rare Type II photo of an iconic pose of Mickey Mantle! This comes from the Uncle Jimmy collection, as he received many of his photographs direct from famous photographers such as Wingfield, Burke, and Brace!
