Rare 1960s Wooden Mickey Mantle International News Send-Away Plaque (11.5"x13") - Matted/Framed (26"x22" Overall). Professionally matted and framed in a shadow-box style, this 1960s send-away international news service plaque is a rarely seen Mickey Mantle item. The international news service would take news images and put them on wood plaques in the 1960s. Uncle Jimmy had various baseball related plaques, and some had the original news service information which showed that he had shipped these items from an International News Service in the 1960s. This plaque does not have its original packaging. Part of The Uncle Jimmy Collection.
