Fred Astaire (d. 1987) signed vintage 8"x10" photo - comes with a full PSA/DNA letter of authenticity. There are some bends in the vintage photo. He inscribed "Sincerely" and "1964". Fred Astaire (born Frederick Austerlitz; May 10, 1899 – June 22, 1987) was an American dancer, singer, actor, choreographer, and television presenter. He is widely considered the most influential dancer in the history of film in a career which spanned a total of 76 years. He starred in more than 10 Broadway and West End musicals, made 31 musical films, four television specials, and issued numerous recordings. Among most notable films where Astaire took the genre of tap dancing to a new level, should be mentioned "Top Hat" (1935) and "Shall We Dance?" (1937). As a dancer, his most outstanding traits were his uncanny sense of rhythm, his perfectionism, and his innovation. His most memorable dancing partnership was with Ginger Rogers, with whom he co-starred in a series of ten Hollywood musicals.
