General Jimmy Doolittle (d. 1993) signed vintage 8"x10" photo - comes with a PSA/DNA COA. The photo is an original Space Laboratories, Inc. original photo. - General Doolittle is well known for leading the "Doolittle Raid" on Japan after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Doolittle inscribed "Every Good Wish to the Student Body of Edward Hand". He was awarded the Medal of Honor for personal valor and leadership as commander of the Doolittle Raid, a bold long-range retaliatory air raid on some of the Japanese main islands on April 18, 1942, four months after the attack on Pearl Harbor. The attack was a major morale booster for the United States and Doolittle was celebrated as a hero.
