This 13-1/2"x10" sepia toned cabinet style print is matted & framed for an overall size of 21"x17". The image depicts Galento knocking down Joe Louis in the 3rd round of their fight on 6/28/1939 at Yankee Stadium. The print is signed & inscribed by Galento - "To My Friend Johnie, Best Regards, Tony Galento". Joe Louis ultimately went on to win this fight with a knock out. There is some water staining on the bottom edge and lower right corner of the print. Includes a JSA auction letter.
