Autographs in this lot include Thorton Burgess (PSA/DNA), Grace Livingston Hill, Maud Tousey Fangel signed sketch, Anton Otis Fischer signed sketch, and Eileen Brennan autograph (Private Benjamin actress). Thorton Burgess wrote over 170 books, including many beloved characters. Grace Livingston Hill wrote over 100 novels throughout her career. If you see a sketch of a child in an ad from the 1930s/40s/50s, you are most likely looking at the work of Maud Tousey Fangel. She was very well known, and she has immortalized her son's image as the boy on the Cracker Jack Box. Anton Otis Fischer was an artist, known for creating the images in "The Saturday Evening Post" for 40+ years. The Maud Tousey Fangel & Anton Otis Fischer signatures were found to be inconclusive by JSA.
