The Valentines range from the early 1900s through the 1950s, but the majority are from the 1920s/30s/40s. Each individual card has beautiful artwork & and uniqueness representative of their era. The majority of the Valentines do have writing on the back, most in pencil, which overall does not detract from their appearance & appeal. The 50+ greeting cards represent a time period when people greeted their neighbors, friends, & business associates with their "card" - a precursor to the business cards we use today! A great lot of Americana history.
