These (2) Youth's Companion Magazine were issued in April 1929, and are Volume 103, Number 4. The cover shows Babe Ruth in an action batting pose in the prime of his career. While there is an address label adhered to the upper right side of the magazine, it does not detract from the eye appeal of this vintage cover (possibly one of the earlier color covers of Ruth). On the inside front cover, there is ironically a vintage ad for the iconic Baby Ruth candy bar. The first page of the magazine has a portrait and story of Herbert Hoover, our 31st president. All pages appear intact with no tears.
