This 1951 Topps collegiate football set was originally designed to have a silver scratch-off coating on the back of each card to reveal the player's college when scratched away. The set offered in this lot has already had the silver coating scratched off of each card. There are many notable athletes included in this set, some of whom went on to have an NFL career, including Bill Wade, Babe Parilli, Vic Janowicz, Marion Campbell, Bert Rechichar, George Young, Dick Gregory, and others.
