This is a lot of two signed baseballs by Herb Score and Gil McDougald, who both played baseball in the 1950's. The Score signature is on the sweet spot in blue ink and inscribed "ROY 55". Comes with JSA Letter of Authenticity. The McDougald ball is signed on the sweet spot in blue ink and inscribed "1951 AL ROY" and has a MLB certification. These two became infamously paired on May 7, 1957, when the Yankees Gil McDougald hit a line drive that nailed Cleveland Indians pitcher Herb Score in the face. That accident impaired Herb's ability to be an effective pitcher for the rest of his career. A special display case comes with these baseballs as well.
