1981-1989 Baseball Hall of Fame Metal Plaque Cards #1-189 Rare! This special set of (189) metallic plaque cards included every player, executive, manager and umpire who was a member of the hall of fame through 1989. Each 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" gold anodized aluminum card bares an exact replica of the player's official hall of fame plaque. These sets were produced in very small quantities and limited to only 1,000 made, were sold by the Baseball Hall of Fame through its gift shops. It has been reported that many cards were damaged in production/distribution so the number available of any card is likely under 1,000. This particular set includes the original embossed 3 ring binder. Most cards appear to be in Mint condition with a few possibly lower.
