RARE 1921 W551 Complete Uncut Sheet of 10 w. 8 HOFers, including (from left to right) Ruth (HOF), Ty Cobb (HOF), Wally Pipp, Tris Speaker (HOF), Jess Barnes, Casey Stengel (HOF), Dave Bancroft (HOF), Frank Baker (HOF), Walter Johnson (HOF), and George Sisler (HOF). This is the single ten-card panel (as issued when originally sold) that has been kept in amazing condition for 101 years! These colorful cards are referred to as "strip cards" because they were originally issued in this uncut sheet. It is only in recent years that collectors have begun to appreciate the distinctive look and tremendous value these cards represent, as the Hall of Famers in this set are difficult to obtain in this condition. The panel is vividly bright and clean, with vibrant colors, nicely centered. Ruth and Sisler are the "end cards" on these strips, so it is rare to find them in this condition (and are typically difficult to grade because most end cards have been damaged), but this uncut sheet has kept these two cards in amazingly gradeable condition. The panel dimensions are approximately 13.75 x 2.25 inches. This truly is one of the finest condition entire 10-card W551 panels that we have ever seen.
