This is a very rare Roy Campanella autographed lithograph. Color artwork lithograph has been signed within the lower border in pencil. Also signed by the artist, Christopher Paluso, and numbered "A/E V". Framed for display (19"x25") with visible wear that has small tack holes at corners from prior mounting. Includes an auction letter of authenticity from JSA and letter of provenance from the Campanella Family. "Campy" was a Philadelphia native who played for the Negro Leagues and Mexican League for several seasons before entering the minor leagues in 1946. He made his MLB debut in 1948. His playing career ended when he was paralyzed in an automobile accident in January 1958. Widely considered to be one of the greatest catchers in the history of the game, Campanella played for the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1940s and 1950s.
